Major Champion Yin Ruoning and Fan Favorite Lily Muni He Headline Star-Studded Chinese Contingent at Aramco China Championship

PIF Global Series, Powered by Aramco, Concludes 2025 Season in Spectacular Fashion at Mission Hills Shenzhen

(Shenzhen, China – September 30, 2025) Two of China’s brightest golfing stars—major champion Yin Ruoning and beloved homegrown talent Lily Muni He—have confirmed their participation in the Aramco China Championship, set to take place from November 6–8, 2025, at the iconic World Cup Course, Mission Hills Resort Shenzhen. The event marks the grand finale of the 2025 PIF Global Series, the rebranded and elevated global circuit of the Ladies European Tour (LET).

Now in its second year, the Aramco China Championship features a 104-player field competing for a record-breaking $2 million prize purse, along with crucial Solheim Cup qualification points and Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings points. In a significant format evolution from 2024, the tournament will debut a team-based structure: 26 team captains will draft their squads during tournament week, with each four-player team counting the two best scores per hole across the first two rounds. While the team champion will be crowned after 36 holes, the individual title will be decided in a thrilling final round on Saturday, November 8.

Both Yin and Lily delivered standout performances at the inaugural 2024 event in Shenzhen—Yin finished T9 at 11-under par, while Lily tied for 10th at 10-under, delighting local fans with their poise and precision.

Currently ranked world No. 3, Yin Ruoning boasts five LPGA Tour victories, including a major title, and serves as an ambassador for Saudi Golf. This season, she has recorded three top-10 finishes and came heartbreakingly close to another major win at the Chevron Championship, falling in a five-player playoff to Mao Saigo. Now, she’s chasing her first victory of 2025—and using her platform to inspire the next generation.

“Competing at home in front of family and friends is always special,” Yin shared. “I don’t get many chances to play in China, so every appearance means a lot. Last year’s experience in Shenzhen gave me great momentum, and I’m truly excited to return. The key here is the greens—if I can get my putting dialed in, I know I can contend.”

For Lily Muni He, Mission Hills isn’t just a venue—it’s home. Having lived in Shenzhen as a child, she holds deep personal ties to the course and the community.

“I picked up a golf club at age five, and by six, I’d moved to Shenzhen for eight months,” Lily recalled with a smile. “Returning to compete here feels like coming full circle. Walking into the clubhouse, seeing those familiar walls—it all brings back wonderful memories. It genuinely feels like home.”

She added, “Last year’s crowd was incredible. Their energy, their cheers after every hole—it’s the kind of support that lifts you up. It’s not pressure; it’s encouragement. And that makes all the difference.”

Organized by Saudi Golf, the Aramco China Championship underscores a broader mission: to accelerate the growth of golf across Asia and champion gender equity in sport. As the final stop of the 2025 PIF Global Series—following events in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, the UK, and the U.S.—the tournament blends global excellence with local pride, offering a global stage for China’s rising stars while welcoming the world’s elite.

Fans can expect world-class drama, strategic team dynamics, and individual brilliance as the 2025 season reaches its crescendo in Shenzhen.
