GOLF SAUDI DRIVES AWARENESS OF BREAST CANCER AS SHENZHEN TURNS PINK FOR THE ARAMCO CHINA CHAMPIONSHIP
(Shenzhen, China – 3 November 2025) Shenzhen will once again turn pink this week as the Aramco China Championship shines a vital spotlight on Breast Cancer Awareness. Taking place at Mission Hills Golf Club from Thursday to Saturday, the event marks the finale of the Golf Saudi-backed PIF Global Series, sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour.
Following the success of the 2024 edition, when 1,095 mammograms were donated to the Shenzhen community through a partnership with Vista-SK International Medical Center, Golf Saudi will elevate its commitment in 2025 with a program of initiatives designed to raise awareness, promote early detection, and empower women’s health across the region.
Mission Hills will be turning pink once again for the Aramco China Championship, the final event of the 2025 PIF Global Series
The 2025 Aramco China Championship will feature the following initiatives:
Birdies for Mammograms: A total of 10 mammograms will be donated for every birdie made and 20 for every eagle on the 16th hole, which will once again be branded in pink, in partnership with Vista-SK International Medical Center.
Complimentary Access for Women: All female spectators will receive free entry on Saturday, 8 November.
Awareness Campaigns On-Site: Complimentary Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons will be distributed to all spectators.
“Pink Saturday” Celebration: The final day of the tournament will be transformed into Pink Saturday, encouraging players, staff, and spectators to wear pink in solidarity with the cause.
These efforts build on a powerful legacy established in 2024, when the tournament first introduced a series of meaningful activations, including:
1,095 mammograms donated to the local community in partnership with Vista-SK International Medical Centre.
The debut of the “Birdie for Mammogram” initiative on the pink-branded 16th hole
A dedicated “Pink Sunday”, with players and fans showing their support by wearing pink.
Complimentary pink hats distributed to all spectators.
As part of Golf Saudi’s ongoing commitment to social impact through sport, the Aramco China Championship has become a powerful platform for Breast Cancer Awareness. By uniting players, fans, and partners under a shared cause, the tournament uses the global stage of women’s golf to highlight the importance of early detection, education, and support for those affected.
Through initiatives such as Birdies for Mammograms, Pink Saturday, and its partnership with Vista-SK International Medical Center, Golf Saudi is helping to fund essential screenings while inspiring conversations that can save lives. The event not only celebrates the strength and resilience of women but also reinforces the message that sport can drive real and lasting change in communities.
The activations taking place at the Aramco China Championship are a great example of social and community work being showcased through the LET Sustainability Initiative, which is about using the power of our tournaments to participate and showcase action and innovation across a range of priority issues such as environmental responsibility, community engagement, and working towards achieving tournament climate neutrality.
